Drop Biscuits Recipe:

*made at cooking club*

Makes 20 small biscuits or 8 large ones


Ingredients:

1 stick of unsalted butter cut into 1/4 inch cubes and refirgerated

1 1/2 cups all purpose flor

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp kosher salt

3/4 cup whole milk 


Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Toss the butter into the dry ingredients until the butter is coated in flour. Add that to a food processor and pulse 2-3 times to form pea sized pieces. 

4. Add the milk and stir with a fork until it just comes together into a slightly sticky dough.

5. For small biscuits, take a teaspoon of the dough and place on the baking sheet. for large biscuits, take 1/4 cup of the dough and do the same thing. 

6. Bake the small biscuits for 15 minutes and the large ones for 20 minutes or bake them until golden brown.
